This is strength for the long haul.
Forged by iron, grounded by oak.
our why
Too many people feel like they don’t belong in traditional gyms.
Too intimidating.
Too extreme.
Too focused on quick fixes instead of long-term health.
We wanted to build something different.
A space where people can come as they are.
A place to feel supported from day one.
A place where strength is built slow and steady.
Because fitness should add to your life—not take it over.
our story
Iron & Oak has been a dream for a long time.
Halona grew up in Florida, where she found strength, confidence, and community through fitness. What started with CrossFit eventually led to Olympic weightlifting and personal training—she’s experienced the fitness world from every side.
The beginner.
The member.
The athlete.
The coach.
And now, she’s creating the kind of gym she’s always wanted to be a part of.
A private training space where you can focus on getting stronger without the pressure, distraction, or intimidation—where you can rediscover your love for training and challenge yourself in the best way.
Whether someone is brand new to training, returning after a break, or simply looking for a more thoughtful approach, Iron & Oak is a place to settle in, feel supported, and grow.
our philosophy
We believe strength should support you for life — not just for a season.
That means prioritizing longevity over pushing through pain.
Consistency over burnout.
Progress over perfection.
Our approach is rooted in thoughtful, evidence-based training designed to help people move better, feel stronger, and build habits that last.
At its core, Iron & Oak brings together individuals and like-minded coaches under the same philosophy: intentional movement, genuine support, and strength that can be relied on for years to come.
This is strength for the long haul.
